By registering, you agree to read and abide by the rules listed here. First and foremost, we expect all our members to use common sense at all times. We all love sneakers and it’s meant to be fun, so don’t be an idiot and flame newbies or post spam. Put some thought into whatever you’re saying and keep it real. Above all else, keep your laces loose!

Freedom of speech is tempered by the reality that any comments you make are DEFINITELY subject to civil laws in relation to libel. We don’t want to get too heavy, but we do want to make it clear that anything you say in this Forum can be read by others, including your boss. We are aware of several people who have lost their jobs (usually in sneaker stores) due to comments made in forums and on social media, so be aware that you may think you’re anonymous, but the reality is that you are accountable for your words.

We want our community to be built on respect, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation and even taste in sneakers. Nuff said.
– Disrespect to MODS will not be tolerated
– Name-calling, flaming or harassment will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or a permanent ban
– Using words such as “FAG” to insult people and “RAPE” to discuss pricing is not acceptable

We don’t expect everyone to agree on all things, but there’s no reason banter can’t also be entertaining and friendly as well.
– Flaming ‘newbies’ is played. You were young once, so give the kids a break
– Great discussion is based on substantiating your viewpoint so if you like or dislike something, say why
– Constructive criticism is therefore encouraged but hostile negativity is definitely not tolerated
EXCEPTION: Any positive mention of Skechers will result in an immediate lifetime ban

– Before you post, check for an existing thread on the same topic
– Use the search function to look for an answer to your question before asking it
– Help us keep the forum organised by posting in the correct section
– Look, listen and learn before you shoot your mouth off
– Ease into it. Don’t post in 50 threads on your first day

Please refer to the FAQs on selling sneakers here.

If a thread hasn’t been posted in for years, don’t go ‘gravedigging’ by posting in it unless there’s a humorous or relevant reason to do so. Create a new thread instead.

Posting emoticons or quoting another post without adding any insight of your own is not cool.
If it’s being done to boost post-counts, expect a warning from a mod.

Simply labelling a thread as ‘NSFW’ does not mean you can post anything. We’re not sure where the limit is in terms of bad taste and what may or may not constitute offensive material, but we’ll know when we see it. In all cases, we expect members to exercise their own judgement. Likewise, we also expect members to report offensive material to a mod.

As if it needs to be said... Michael Jordan rules over all! Kobe and LeBron will never be anywhere near as good as MJ.

We often need to repeat ourselves on this matter so here we go again.
– Healthy debate is fine, but name-calling and flaming is not cool
– Members will be suspended or banned, with or without warning

Don’t suffer in silence. If you feel unhappy about something on the Forum whether it be specific content or a user, contact a moderator.
